Gary Minuk (Retired)

Gary was called to the bar in 1976 and has been practicing at Kelekis Minuk on Henderson since his articles.  Gary’s current practice has changed over the years and presently he currently focuses on Estate and Real Estate matters. Gary was the founding member of the Law Baseball League in 1977 and is still playing to this date.

Daniel Minuk (Partner)

The newest partner at the firm, Daniel Minuk received his call to the bar in 2009.  Originally pursuing areas of practice which included criminal defense and immigration, Daniel has changed his focus to family law.  Collaboratively trained, Daniel’s main focus is resolving family matters with an amicable, forthright and common-sense approach.  Following in the footsteps of the partners in the firm, Daniel handles a variety of legal matters which included: Family Law, Real Estate, Estate Law and Civil Litigation.

Amy Robertson (Associate)

A new associate to the firm, Amy has been working at KMMG since the summer of 2020 having previously articled with Manitoba Public Insurance. The focus of her practice is Domestic Family Law with a view towards collaboratively based resolution.  Amy is the past president of The Manitoba Association for Rights and Liberties, which is non-profit organization whose goal is to promote equality and justice for all. 

Currently, Amy is away from the office on maternity leave. Congratulations Amy!

 

 

 

Owen Park (Associate)

Having recently received his Call to the Bar, Owen has joined the team at KMMG as a junior associate on a full-time basis. As established by the firm’s dominant area of practice, Owen will be focusing his practice on collaborative family law, real estate and estate work.  In his spare time Owen enjoys travelling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends, family and his dog Frank.

 

Samantha Campbell (Associate)

Called in 2021, Samantha began her legal journey in Ontario before coming to KMMG as a full-time junior associate. Like the other lawyers in the firm, Samantha’s focus will be on domestic family law – with a view towards collaborative resolution, real estate, estate and some criminal work. Samantha maintains her practicing certificates in both Manitoba and Ontario.

 

Michael Green (Retired)

Michael Green recently retired from the practice of law after over 40 years working predominantly in domestic family law. Michael has given up his practice for the opportunity to enjoy his retirement on the water, sailing his boat.

 

Garry Micflikier (Retired)

Gary Micflikier received his call to the bar in 1974.  He has been practicing at Kelekis Minuk Micflikier Green since the early nineties.  Gary predominantly practices in the Real Estate and Estate Law.

 

Assistants

Cherie Friesen

Cherie joined KMMG in 2001.  While her primary and initial focus was real estate conveyancing, Cherie’s experience over the years has made her a complete legal assistant. Recently Cherie has found a passion for the outdoors, on her ATVs and Pontoon.

Sara Ebata

Sara has been a legal assistant since 2002. Initially, Sara worked exclusively with Michael Green when the two of them worked at David George and Associates until his recent retirement.  Sara continues to work in the areas of family law and estate law. Sara brings with her a wealth of experience as a legal assistant.

Sabrina Rich

Sabrina is a new addition to the KMMG team having recently started in the summer of 2022. She provides assistant services in wills, estate and domestic. She has four children and is a busy hockey and soccer mom.
